Overview:
(QS) is responsible for managing all costs related to construction projects. They primarily estimate and monitor project costs, from the early design to the final construction stages
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of cost estimates, bills of quantities and tender documents.
- Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best prices and terms
- Managing project budgets, including forecasting and monitoring costs.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all project-related costs and financial transactions
- Provide expert advice on procurement, risk management and cost-saving measures
Minimum Qualifications
- Technician Diploma in Civil/Highway Engineering/Surveying or higher.
Minimum Experience
- 10 years post graduate overall experience out of which 5 years’ experience in similar capacity in roads sector.
